Polymnia is a chamber choir of twenty-four voices based in the Milton Keynes area. The choir was formed in 2006, and is named after the Greek muse of sacred song. We sing a very wide variety of music to a high standard, under the musical direction of John Byron. Previous performances include the Bach Magnificat with the London Charity Orchestra in London and Milton Keynes, and a concert in Dame Cleo Laine's garden as part of the Wavendon "Music in the Garden" series. Two demo CDs are available, each for £5, or you can hear us on the BBC Radio 4 website - just click on Olney.

We can provide a wedding choir, or music for your special event: please email us for details.

We are currently recruiting for another tenor and a low bass. If you have good sight-reading skills, can confidently hold a line, and would be interested in joining us, please contact John on 01908 261903.

Polymnia is affiliated to Making Music.
