Polymnia is a chamber choir of twenty-two voices based in the Milton Keynes area. The choir was formed in 2006,
and is named after the Greek muse of sacred song. We sing a very wide variety of music to a high standard, under
the musical direction of John Byron. Read an independent review of our last concert here. Last year we toured Southern Spain, where we had the rare privilege of giving a concert in Granada cathedral. We also sang in the amazing acoustic of the caves at Nerja.

We recently had a training session with Stephen Cleobury at King's College Cambridge. He said:

"I was delighted to spend some time recently working with the fine chamber choir, Polymnia, on some of the pieces
being prepared
for a concert tour to Spain. They had been very well rehearsed by their own director, John Byron, and
the singers
were quick to respond to my own ideas and suggestions. This made for a very enjoyable and rewarding
time together."

We can provide a wedding choir, or music for your special event: please email us for details. Two demo CDs are
available for £5 each.

We are currently recruiting for another tenor and a low bass. If you have good sight-reading skills, can confidently
hold a line, and would be interested in joining us, please contact John on 01908 261903.
